Why wave count beats technique

Nobody improves on two waves a session. Position first, everything else after.

How we work

Footage, forecasts, drills

Beginners and intermediates usually have a positioning problem dressed up as a technique problem. Sitting twenty feet off the peak turns a good session into a paddling workout.

Footage settles it instantly. Fifteen minutes filmed from the beach shows where you sat, which waves you let go, and what your pop-up actually looks like — none of which matches how it felt.

The rest is drills on land and reading forecasts so you're in the water when conditions suit you. What we never do is pretend remote coaching makes the ocean safe: that takes local instruction, other people around, and your own honest judgment.

Position before technique

The best pop-up is useless twenty feet off the peak.

Film every session

Your surfing looks nothing like it feels.

Never alone, never beyond your level

In-water lessons come from a local school, not from us.

Shall we look at your surfing?

Twenty minutes, free, on your break and what's costing you waves.
